eSIM
You may scan your eSIM QR Code before the day of travel, make sure you are connected to internet network when scanning the QR Code.
Remember that once the eSIM is activated you cannot pause the plan so the days of validity will start counting down.
- Go to Settings > Cellular/ Mobile > Add eSIM/ Add Cellular Plan > Use QR Code > Scan QR Code (Make sure you are connected to internet when scanning)
- Once your phone has recognised the eSIM, you will see a screen called “Data Plan Labels”. Click “Secondary” and You can rename the label for easy identification. For example: Travel or Roamhub [country name]
- It may ask you to set Default line for Text Messages, iMessages, and Call, please choose “Primary”(your Local Sim card)
- Before your arrival in your destination, always keep your mobile data network at “Primary” (your Local Simcard)
- When you have arrived in your destination, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular/ Mobile Data > switch Primary to Roamhub eSIM (that you have labeled before)
- Tap on to your newly installed eSIM plan, you will find “Turn on this Line” and “Data Roaming”, please set them both up to ON position
- Hoooraaa.. Enjoy your internet!
- Go to settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM/ Add Mobile Plan > Add using QR Code > Scan QR Code > Add & reconfirm by click “OK”
- It will download automatically and you should see it installed on your SIM Manager
- Before your arrival in your destination, always keep your Mobile Data network at your Local Sim card network
- When you have arrived in your destination, go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > switch your Local Simcard “OFF” and Roamhub eSIM network to “ON”, and set your Mobile Data setting to Roamhub eSIM
- Last but not least, Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > and you will find “Data Roaming”, please set to ON position
- Hoooraaa.. Enjoy your internet
Wifi
For mutual convenience, there are some important notes that need your attention when using Roamhub Products
- Each pocket wifi can be shared with up to 5 device users.
- Maximum connection distance is 10 metres
- Battery capacity can last up to 15 hours, in idle & standby position.
- Please pay attention to the battery charge bar, make sure to always recharge before the battery is completely drained to avoid power failure.
- It will take 5-6 hours to charge the battery.
- Internet active period uses GMT+7 as reference, make sure your activation date is in accordance with the time calculation based on GMT+7
- Press the power button on the side of wifi, hold till the screen turns on.
- Wait 5-10 minutes for wifi to search for operator signal
- You can find Username & Password on the screen, sometimes you need to tap before it shows up.
- It is better to turn off your mobile data when using wifi.
